Roman Reigns is currently set to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber, and anticipation for the match is at an all time high. It’s no big secret that there have been some issues within The Bloodline as of late, and last week Paul Heyman told The Usos on SmackDown that The Tribal Chief wanted them to stay home instead of making the trip to Elimination Chamber.
There was some speculation that The Usos wouldn’t be allowed to travel to Canada due to past legal issues, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that both Jimmy and Jey Uso are legally allowed to go to Canada.
The angle with Paul Heyman telling The Usos that The Tribal Chief wants them to stay home isn’t a cover story to explain why they won’t be there, but it’s more of a storyline idea to play off people who assume that they won’t be. It appears that WWE is trying to create uncertainty regarding whether or not the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions will show up.
You can get more details on the original plans for Sami Zayn’s big title match with Roman Reigns here. Elimination Chamber will air live from Montreal on Saturday, February 18. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
