The Rock and WWE were once synonymous, but Rock has been busy focusing on his film career for many years now, so his appearances on WWE programming have been few and far between.
However, it was recently reported that The Rock is interested in returning to the ring, and is considering a match at WrestleMania 35 next year.
Now Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that there is an open dialogue between The Rock and WWE about possible upcoming appearances.
At this point it’s not known when the former World Champion might be appearing on WWE programming, but hopefully this means we’ll be seeing The Great One sooner rather than later.

The Rock recently spoke to Cathy Kelley about a potential return and he said that he can’t wait to get back in the ring.
