CM Punk made his big return to AEW during the debut episode of Collision back in June and he’s had a consistent presence on the show ever since. Prior to his return many fans wondered if Punk’s real life issues with The Elite could play out on screen. Dax Harwood of FTR also stated back in April that CM Punk & FTR vs. The Elite at All In would be a dream match.
Fightful Select is now reporting that the word is there’s been some movement on a possible FTR vs. Young Bucks rematch. However, there’s been no word on whether or not a feud involving CM Punk and The Elite has been broached.
It was confirmed earlier today that Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Adam Page have all signed new multi-year deals with All Elite Wrestling. It’s not clear if the deals are all the same length, but it’s being reported that one of them was for at least four years. The deals were said to have been completed over the last few weeks.
While it seems that we could be getting a Young Bucks vs. FTR rematch somewhere down the line there’s no telling whether or not CM Punk could be added to the mix. With The Elite now confirmed to be sticking with AEW for the next few years it will be interesting to see if a CM Punk vs. Elite feud does eventually come to fruition.
