Shane McMahon has been the Commissioner of SmackDown Live for years now, but after Paige took over as General Manager, Shane stepped aside so that Paige could establish herself as an authority figure.
However, this week on SmackDown 1000, Shane McMahon made his return to TV, and he was featured on Truth TV alongside his father and sister.
PWInsider reports that Shane McMahon’s appearance at SmackDown 1000 was meant to be his return to TV.
Shane is set to be worked back into the storylines, and current plans call for him to appear on SmackDown over the coming weeks.
