After Shane McMahon announced that Paige would be taking over the SmackDown Live General Manager position a few months ago, he stepped aside to give Paige the spotlight.
Recently Shane made his return to WWE programming, and PWInsider is reporting that Shane is expected to be back on TV on a pretty regular basis going forward.
Paige was backstage at SmackDown Live this week, but wasn’t used on camera. However, it’s being reported that WWE officials love Paige in the role of SmackDown Live General Manager.
Even though Paige has been retired from in-ring action for months now, she recently said during an interview that she’s the happiest she’s ever been. You can get more on that here.
