Brock Lesnar is the current WWE Champion, so it’s safe to say that The Beast will likely be involved in a big match at WrestleMania 36 this year.
It’s not clear exactly who Brock Lesnar could be facing at the Show of Shows in April, but it was announced on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw that he will enter the Royal Rumble match as the number one entrant.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that there’s nothing behind rumors of Edge facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, as the WWE Hall of Famer won’t be The Beast’s opponent.
PWInsider recently reported that Edge has been spotted at a number of recent TV tapings. There’s no word on why he’s been at the tapings, but Edge has made it a point to shoot down return rumors on Twitter.
