You never know know might show up when you watch a professional wrestling show and ahead of the All In pay-per-view Rob Van Dam debuted with AEW and kicked off a feud with Jack Perry. RVD was unable to pick up a victory in his first match with AEW, but he recently returned to the ring once again on the most recent episode of Collision.
During the recent WrestleDream media call Tony Khan addressed Rob Van Dam’s future with the company, and he ntoed that the Hall of Famer will be used on a case by case basis.
“RVD was a great part of it, the Michigan fans were very excited to see him, and he got a great reaction from a live arena, and the show did a great rating.”
“I think he’s been here on a case-by-case, show-by-show basis. We loved having him, I would certainly be very open to Rob returning in the very near future. As we said when I saw him this past weekend, he’s doing a great job and we’d love to have him back. Great to have Rob here anytime when he’s available to do it and anytime it makes sense for everyone.”
There’s currently no word on when Rob Van Dam could make his next AEW appearance, but it sounds like the door is open for him to return at some point. Which AEW stars do you want to see Rob Van Dam face? Sound off in the comments below.
