Earlier today TMZ reported that Ric Flair had been rushed to an Atlanta hospital on Thursday morning due to a “very serious” medical issue, and now Conrad Thompson has provided an update.
PWInsider reports that during the Starrcast media call Conrad said that Flair underwent a scheduled surgery today, and although he appreciates the concern, the situation is not nearly as serious as the original report made it out to be.
According to Thompson, Flair needed to have the procedure done, and he made the decision to get it done before heading to Las Vegas for Starrcast.
He then said that he wouldn’t comment further on the status of the 16 time World Champion, and it is up to Ric Flair if he decides to comment on the medical details.
