For weeks now WWE has been doing a combination of live and taped shows from the WWE Performance Center, and this week WWE taped content for next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
During the tapings for Raw Nia Jax faced off against Kairi Sane, but the match had to be stopped after Sane was injured.
Kairi Sane was busted open when she was tossed into the steel ring steps, and she hit her head on the corner.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that no one is blaming Nia Jax for the injury. It was said that the injury was not Nia Jax’s fault.
The belief is that Kairi Sane may have stumbled into the ring steps when she tried to take the move on her side. She was reportedly in control of the bump, and took the move on her side, but also hit her head.
It’s unknown at this point in time if Kairi Sane suffered a concussion, but she’s said to be ok. It’s not clear if the match will end up airing on Raw.
