Last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown ended with a shocking return when Karrion Kross appeared and attacked Drew McIntyre. Scarlett and Kross then stared down The Bloodline to end the show.
The segment seemed to imply that Kross is in the hunt for Roman’s title, but Kross is not expected to be added to the Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns match at Clash at the Castle.
The next pay-per-view on the schedule following Clash at the Castle is Extreme Rules, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Roman Reigns is not booked for the show. Where things stand right now if WWE wants to do Karrion Kross vs. Roman Reigns it would have to be on TV or at Survivor Series at the earliest.
Karrion Kross is being listed as the number 2 heel on SmackDown on the internal depth chart behind Roman Reigns. There’s speculation that Karrion Kross vs. Drew McIntyre will end up being the top SmackDown program at live events because Roman Reigns almost never works live events.
