Update On Plans For WWE TV When ThunderDome Contract Expires

A few weeks ago WWE officially took over the Amway Center and introduced the world to ThunderDome. Fans have been fully integrated into the ThunderDome experience, but WWE’s contract with the Amway Center only runs through the end of October.

It sounds like WWE officials are already preparing for a post-ThunderDome life, as WrestleVotes is reporting that the company is looking to move TV tapings for Raw and SmackDown to an outdoor venue.

The idea is for Raw and SmackDown TV tapings to be held at the same venue, and WWE has put a small team together to see if this idea is feasible.

Southern states with warm weather are said to be the preference as far as potential locations, but the details have yet to be determined.

One way or another it will be interesting to see if this idea comes to fruition.

Stay tuned for updates.
