WWE made a huge announcement this week on Raw when it was revealed that the King of the Ring tournament will be returning, and the tournament is set to kick off on next week’s episode of Raw.
Dave Melter of F4Wonline.com is now reporting that the plan is for King of the Ring to be a multi week tournament that will take place on both Raw and SmackDown Live, and the KOTR finals will take place at Clash of Champions.
Clash of Champions is set to air live on the WWE Network on Sunday, September 15.
This will be the first time WWE has held a King of the Ring tournament since Wade Barrett won the tournament in 2015.
