SmackDown’s main event feud heading into WrestleMania was the personal rivalry between former Wyatt Family members Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton.
The match went on to main event WrestleMania for the SmackDown brand and Orton walked out with the WWE Championship, but it seems that despite Wyatt moving over to Raw on Monday Night, this isn’t the final showdown that fans will be seeing between these two.
There are currently plans for a “House of Horrors” match between Orton and Wyatt for the WWE Championship at Payback in a few weeks time, but it seems that even though this is a match of Wyatt’s own making, he may not be coming out on top.
There are now also plans for The Viper to defend his WWE Championship against Baron Corbin at Backlash on May 21st, which means that he will be walking out of Payback with the title still firmly around his waist. This makes sense since the WWE Championship does need to stay on the SmackDown brand.
It also means that Bray will be losing a match of his own making at Payback, considering he is supposed to be a scary character on WWE screens, he doesn’t have a very good winning record, with reports now stating that his loss percentage sits at around 64 percent.
Will the move to SmackDown finally allow him to reach his potential?
