On Saturday Roman Reigns defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle, but The Bloodline did not accompany The Tribal Chief to the ring.
At one point it seemed that Drew McIntyre had the match one, but a mystery man in a hood pulled the referee out of the ring before he could count to three. The mystery man turned out to Roman’s cousin, and brother of The Usos, Solo Sikoa from NXT. After the match Solo Sikoa walked up the ramp with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion as they made their way to the back.
PWInsider is reporting that current plans call for Solo Sikoa to be a regular on the Friday Night SmackDown brand moving forward. There’s currently no word on if he will be at Raw on Monday.
It will be interesting to see where things go from here with The Bloodline, but it sounds like it will be a while before fans see Roman Reigns put his title on the line again. You can get more details on Roman’s next title defense here. Stay tuned for updates.
