Brock Lesnar has firmly established himself as one of the most dominant forces in all of professional wrestling, but it’s been a few months since The Beast Incarnate has stepped into the ring.
The former WWE Champion last competed at SummerSlam where he was defeated by Cody Rhodes. After the match Lesnar surprised the fans when he showed respect to The American Nightmare as their heated rivalry seemingly came to an end.
It’s certainly not uncommon for Brock Lesnar to disappear from WWE programming for long periods of time and it doesn’t sound like WWE has plans to use him any time soon. Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Brock Lesnar is not expected to return to WWE until the Royal Rumble next year.
There’s currently no word on who Brock Lesnar could be feuding with once he’s back on TV, so it will be interesting to see how he’s booked once he returns. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
