Brock Lesnar returned to the ring last weekend when he competed in the 30 man Royal Rumble match, but The Beast didn’t last very long. Lesnar entered the match at number 12 but after a few minutes he was eliminated by Bobby Lashley who entered at number 13.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Brock Lesnar has been confirmed for both Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 39. It was speculated that Brock Lesnar could be facing Bobby Lashley at Mania this year.
It was also noted that rumors of Brock Lesnar facing Gunther at WrestleMania are false, and even though WWE contacted Steve Austin about a potential match with Lesnar, Austin turned down the offer to wrestle on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
WrestleMania 39 will air live on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2. Stay tuned for more updates on the event as they become available.
