Update On Mercedes Mone’s Talks With WWE And AEW

Mercedes Mone has unfortunately been sidelined for months now due to injury, but she’s still a very hot topic in the world of professional wrestling. Everyone is waiting to see where Mercedes could end up in the future and it sounds like we could find out sooner than later.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that it’s rumored Mercedes Mone could be going to AEW shortly. The word is that she was in talks with WWE, but the two sides were far apart on money. Although some people in WWE have speculated that the situation could be similar to what happened with Punk where everyone is denying it leading to a Royal Rumble return for Mercedes.

It’s being said that nothing should be taken as definitive until she signs a deal as she’s been in talks with both AEW and WWE. If Mercedes does sign with AEW then the company will likely hint at a major debut or special announcement ahead of time.
