Matt Riddle was one of the stars to watch in 2022 as he had a successful run teaming with Randy Orton as RK-Bro before branching off into a singles run when Orton was taken out of action due to injury. Riddle was written off TV during the December 5 episode of Raw and it was later reported that he had failed a drug test for a second time.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Matt Riddle just got out of rehab and he got his BJJ black belt this week while training under Daniel Gracie.
WWE wrote Matt Riddle off with an injury angle back in early December and it was announced that he would be returning in six weeks. That timeframe would indicate a possible Royal Rumble return, but it was noted that if Riddle is suspended for two months then he wouldn’t be able to return in time.
