Matt Hardy became a free agent on March 1st and he recently teased that he’ll be working with AEW when he had The Young Bucks appear in the finale of his Free The Delete series.
It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio Matt Hardy was booked for The Big Event this weekend, but Matt has been pulled from the show.
Matt was booked for the event when he was working as a WWE guy, but the people running the convention were told that AEW stars aren’t allowed to be booked.
It was also noted that Matt being pulled from the show is an indication that people in WWE seem to have already found out that he’s going to AEW, and his debut is imminent.
It’s not clear at this point when he might be making his debut, but it’s been rumored for some time now that he could be working with The Dark Order as The Exalted One.
