The Hardys were on a roll following WrestleMania 35, as they managed to win the SmackDown Tag Team Titles but unfortunately had to vacate the belts shortly after as Jeff was sidelined due to an injury.
Matt Hardy has been making appearances on Raw over the last few weeks, and he’s also been preparing for a possible exit from WWE with his Free The Delete videos on YouTube.
Everyone’s wondering what’s next for Matt Hardy, and PWInsider is reporting that Matt’s current contract with WWE is set to expire on 3/1. If he does not sign a new deal then he will be free to wrestle anywhere on that date.
The major hurdle when it comes to signing a WWE deal for Matt is how the company would using him moving forward, not money.
Jeff Hardy’s deal will not expire at the same time, as his deal has been held up due to his injury and legal troubles. Jeff has a hearing for his 2019 DWI arrest coming up on 1/13.
