Luke Harper spent most of 2019 sitting on the sidelines, and he decided to publicly request his release from WWE.
Initially the company did not grant his request, but eventually he was released and now fans are waiting to see what he will do next.
Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Luke Harper is interested in working with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
One way or another fans will have to wait a little while to see the Intercontinental Champion return to the ring, as it’s been reported that his no compete clause doesn’t expire until March.
