Kurt Angle returned to WWE a few years ago, and he quickly made an impact when he found himself in the role of Raw General Manager.
Since then Angle has worked a number of different roles in WWE, and most recently the Hall of Famer had been working backstage as a producer.
Kurt Angle was released from WWE as part of the budget cuts last week, but he did make an appearance on NXT this week when he worked as the special referee for the Matt Riddle vs. Timothy Thatcher match.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Kurt Angle has not been offered a new deal.
The word is that Angle is currently being paid through mid-July like the rest of the talents that were released.
It’s also being said that if the company has an idea for a released talent they will use them.
