Kevin Owens has been off TV for a little while now, but he has been competing at WWE live events. The former Universal Champion reportedly tweaked his knee over the weekend and it was reported that the belief was Owens suffered a sprained MCL.
The injury has created a lot of questions regarding KO’s status moving forward, but PWInsider is reporting that Owens is currently set to be at this Friday’s SmackDown taping and all of the TV tapings heading into Survivor Series next week.
Even though WWE hasn’t officially announced the match just yet all signs seem to be point to The Bloodline facing off against Drew McIntyre and The Brawling Brutes in a WarGames match. It’s been speculated that Owens could be taking the final spot on the team opposing The Bloodline, but it’s not clear if WWE has changed plans due to the injury.
