John Cena teamed up with Bobby Lashley to face Kevin Owens and Elias at WWE Super Show-Down, and he’s currently scheduled to compete in the WWE World Cup tournament at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
However, Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports recently reported that John Cena and Daniel Bryan are “refusing” to go to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel.
F4Wonline.com followed up on Cena’s status and noted that it’s not confirmed Cena has pulled out of the event, but word going around is that he will be replaced in the WWE World Cup tournament.
Monday night on Raw, WWE aired a video which featured Kurt Angle hyping up the tournament, and Cena was included in the video, so as of this writing he’s still being advertised for the tournament.
Daniel Bryan is also still being advertised for his WWE Championship match with AJ Styles at Crown Jewel.
