WrestleMania 40 is loaded with huge names and over the last few weeks there’s been a lot of speculation regarding who could appear. John Cena, Steve Austin and The Undertaker are all rumored for the Showcase of the Immortals this year, but so far nothing is confirmed.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that John Cena is set to start filming Peacemaker season 2 in June. The last word on his status for WrestleMania is that he is free that day, and would like to do it, but from a physical standpoint his involvement would be limited.
When asked about plans for John Cena, The Undertaker and Steve Austin at WrestleMania the response was that none of them would be wrestling matches, which is to be expected.
One way or another it will be interesting to see how Cena, Taker and Austin are used if they do indeed appear at WrestleMania 40. Stay tuned for updates.
