A few weeks ago a report was making the rounds online claiming that Chris Jericho, Jim Ross and The Elite were working behind the scenes to launch a new wrestling company which would be backed by the Khan family.
However, Chris Jericho and Jim Ross later commented on the rumors and denied that they are looking to launch a wrestling company.
Talk surrounding the potential company died down for a few weeks, but it’s recently picked up again after it was revealed that multiple trademarks were filed this month hinting that the company is moving forward.
The documents were filed by All Elite Wrestling, LLC, and the address listed on the documents was for TIAA Bank Field which is home to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The address is interesting as it adds more fuel to the fire in regards to rumors of Tony Khan being involved.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks are the ones working behind the scenes on the potential company, but that Jericho and JR’s involvement was blown out of proportion.
If Chris Jericho and Jim Ross do get involved with the company it’s being said that they would likely work as talent.
The Elite have said that they want to stay together, and their contracts with their respective promotions will be coming to an end in the months to come, so it will certainly be interesting to see what the future holds.
