Jeff Hardy has been a very hot topic in the world of professional wrestling as of late thanks to his storyline with Sheamus on SmackDown.
Hardy was originally set to appear at Moore County Court in North Carolina today regarding his DWI arrest in October 2019. However, the court date has been pushed back due to issues caused by the coronavirus pandemic according to PWInsider.
The former WWE Champion was arrested on October 3, 2019 after the police received an anonymous tip about a careless driver.
Authorities then located Hardy’s car outside of a liquor store, and followed him once he got back in the car. It was noted that he was pulled over after the officers “observed him weaving badly in his lane.”
According to the police report Hardy admitted to being impaired, and failed a field sobriety test. His license is currently revoked pending the resolution of the case.
Jeff Hardy is currently set to face Sheamus in a Bar Fight at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view on Sunday.
