Update On Jeff Hardy’s DWI Arrest, How Much Alcohol Was In His System

Over the weekend Jeff Hardy was arrested for driving while impaired, and it was reported that the former WWE Champion totaled his 2016 Cadillac CTS-V in the crash. Luckily it appears that Jeff was not injured in the accident.

TMZ is now reporting that Jeff had three times the legal alcohol limit in his system and blew a .25 while taking the breathalyzer test.

As noted, WWE issued the following statement in response to his arrest: “Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”

Jeff Hardy was booked for a misdemeanor DWI, and he’s set to appear in court on April 16.

It’s unclear at this point in time if this incident will have an impact on his WWE return, but as the statement from WWE says, Jeff is responsible for his own actions.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has been out of action for several months after undergoing surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff.

It was recently reported that Jeff had been cleared for in-ring action, and that he was waiting on word from WWE in regards to his return.

Stay tuned for more updates on Jeff’s status as they become available.
