On Sunday night MJF defended the AEW World Championship against Bryan Danielson in an Iron Man match during the Revolution main event, and MJF ended up retaining after the match went to sudden death. The match itself got a lot of people talking, but people were also talking about an incident that occurred in the crowd where MJF grabbed a drink and dumped it on a young kid.
Following the incident Sean Ross Sapp took to Twitter to note that the kid wasn’t a plant. It was also reported on Fightful Select that security talked to the kid after the incident and Amanda Huber went to sit with him.
Tony Khan also addressed the situation during the AEW Revolution post-show press conference and he made it clear that the company is taking the situation seriously and trying to make things right.
“Before we came up here, we had a serious conversation and I mean that. It’s not to be taken lightly. The young man Titus was a real pro about it. We’ll see Titus again in AEW. I believe Titus is actually coming to Sacramento. I was just with him, he was a real champ about it. The champion didn’t act like a champion there. I think Titus was great.”
