WWE Super ShowDown aired live on the WWE Network last Friday, and for better or worse fans are still talking about the event.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE Super ShowDown drew about 21,000 fans at King Abdullah Sports Stadium in Jeddah last week. The event was nowhere near close to full, and the crowd was dead for most of the show.
WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble event, which took place from Saudi Arabia last April, reportedly drew 60,000 fans.
Super ShowDown featured the first ever Goldberg vs. The Undertaker match in the main event, and in the end it was Taker who picked up the victory. However, their match was heavily criticized due to a few botched moves.
