Update On Future Plans For Trish Stratus And Lita

Trish Stratus and Lita helped pave the way for the Women’s Revolution, and the two Hall of Famers recently returned to the ring at WWE Evolution to face Alicia Fox & Mickie James.

Stratus & Lita are two of the biggest names to ever come out of the women’s division, and it’s been rumored that there are plans for them to appear at more WWE events in the future.

Monday night on Raw, Sasha Banks & Bayley were part of an open forum where they answered questions from fans in the crowd, and when one of the fans asked about their dream match both Banks & Bayley said Trish Stratus & Lita at WrestleMania.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that Vince McMahon doesn’t like to tease things that he can’t deliver, which means the match is either in the plans or it will lead to an angle being planned out now.

Bayley & Banks also mentioned WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles which seems to indicate that the belts will be coming sooner than later. The belts have reportedly already been commissioned.
