There’s no denying that Joe Hendry has been one of the most talked about wrestlers of 2024. Hendry ended up in a top spot on NXT programming in recent months and he even challenged Ethan Page for the NXT Championship at No Mercy. Unfortunately for Joe Hendry it was Ethan Page who retained the championship that night, and Hendry hasn’t been featured on NXT since.
Recently a fan on social media caught Joe Hendry’s attention when they posted a tweet saying that it’s crazy how fast he fell off the radar. Hendry went on to seemingly tease a potential Royal Rumble appearance when he posted the following response:

Joe Hendry is currently set to challenge Nic Nemeth for the Total Nonstop Action World Championship at Bound For Glory, and it’s being reported that numerous people in the company have pushed for Hendry to win the match.
People at the company who have spoken about Joe Hendry’s future have said he looks to be the focal point of their show in 2025 despite speculation that he may be appearing at the Royal Rumble. Sources at Total Nonstop Action have also claimed that Joe Hendry’s contract runs until late 2025.
Hendry is currently set to participate in a media tour with The Hardys to promote the upcoming Bound For Glory pay-per-view at the Wayne State Fieldhouse. Stay tuned for updates.
