Months ago FTR decided to take some time away from TV while they contemplated their next move and Dax Harwood has openly said that their contracts are set to expire in April. Recently the team returned to TV at the Revolution pay-per-view which only created more questions regarding their status with AEW.
Following their return was reported that FTR were locked into long term contracts with AEW, and the team being pulled from TV was actually just part of a storyline. However, Dax later went on to state on his podcast that wasn’t the case and that nothing had changed with their contract status.
The former AEW Tag Team Champion recently took to Twitter to note that he and Cash have made their decision. According to Dax he can’t say anything yet due to legal reasons, but he posted the following update on Twitter:
“Just got off the phone with Cash. We’ve decided what we’re going to do come April. NOTHING is official yet, so legally, can’t speak on it, but in the next couple of weeks, we’ll let all of our fans know. We owe it to y’all for the opportunities we have in front of us. Love y’all.”
Stay tuned for more updates on FTR’s status as they become available.
