NXT Champion Finn Balor unfortunately suffered an ankle injury during a match with Samoa Joe that took place during Friday night’s NXT live event. The injury apparently happened when Finn hit his Coup de Grace finishing move on Joe and he sprained his ankle.
It remains to be seen how serious the injury is or how much time Balor will miss. He’s set to be reevaluated by doctors on Monday.
Finn Balor wasn’t able to wrestle, but he did make an appearance at Saturday night’s WWE live event in Indianapolis. Balor accompanied Bayley in the ring as Bayley imitated his entrance. Unfortunately he didn’t make it all the way through the segment without falling.
At one point Balor was having a little fun and went to point his crutches towards the sky and he lost control and fell back into the ropes. Bayley then rushed to help him. He seems to be alright as he managed to leave the show under his own power with the help of crutches. You can check it out below.
