WrestleMania season is right around the corner, fans are eagerly anticipating the annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view which is set to air later this month.
WWE moved ThunderDome to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL and it was reported some time ago that WWE officials were hopeful that fans would be able to attend the Royal Rumble.
Florida sports reporter Jon Alba recently noted on the Living The Gimmick podcast that multiple sources have confirmed fans will not be in attendance for the pay-per-view.

It was also noted that plans could change, but as of right now WWE is not planning on letting fans attend the show.
As I've noted, it's pro wrestling, plans are always subject to change. But the plan as of now, Jan. 7, does not include fans in attendance at Tropicana Field.
FWIW, Florida had 17,783 new positive COVID cases announced Wednesday. #WWE #RoyalRumble
