Update On Enzo Amore Being Under Police Investigation

A few months ago Enzo Amore was the Cruiserweight Champion, and the star of the WWE cruiserweight division. But WWE quickly cut ties with Enzo and stripped him of his title after he was publicly accused of rape.

Enzo has been quiet since then, but he recently teased his retirement from professional wrestling when he posted a photo on Instagram.

Where Enzo goes from here remains to be seen, but Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Enzo’s case is still being investigated by the police.

Satin also noted that he spoke with Enzo’s lawyer who told him they are cooperating with the police.

Shortly after Enzo was released from his WWE contract, his lawyer issued a statement which reads as follows:

“Over the last two days, Philomena Sheahan has made multiple public accusations against Eric Arndt (also known as Enzo Amore with the WWE), including allegations of sexual misconduct concerning an October 2017 incident in Phoenix. Mr. Arndt fully and unequivocally denies those accusations. He is cooperating with the authorities in this matter and looks forward to having it resolved in a timely manner. Neither Mr. Arndt nor his counsel will be making any further public comments on this matter.”
