Over the last few week there’s been a lot of talk about Edge possibly returning to the ring, but the WWE Hall of Famer seemingly shot those rumors down recently when he posted the following on Twitter:
It’s interesting to note that PWInsider is reporting Edge was in Pittsburgh, PA today for WWE related business.
Pittsburgh, PA is where Dr. Joseph Maroon, the head of WWE’s Medical, is located.
Talk of Edge possibly coming out of retirement started to heat up after he got physical with Elias at SummerSlam, and he later noted on E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness that he felt like he could do one more match.
“To be perfectly honest, I think I could do a match tomorrow. I might be blown up but I’d be okay. It’s just from what I know with the WWE medical staff, they won’t allow. It is what it is, right?”
