Update On Dustin Rhodes’ WWE Contract Status Following AEW Double Or Nothing Announcement

For months now fans have been wondering who Cody Rhodes will be facing at AEW Double or Nothing next month, and on Saturday night his opponent was revealed.

It was officially announced that Cody will be facing his brother, Dustin Rhodes, who is of course known to millions around the world as Goldust.

A few weeks ago it was reported that Goldust had parted ways with WWE after his deal expired, but the former Intercontinental Champion took to Twitter to shut that rumor down.

However, it appears that he is now officially done with WWE, as Dave Meltzer noted on Twitter that he wasn’t fired or released, his contract with the company just expired.

Will you be watching Double or Nothing next month? Sound off in the comments below.
