It’s been a few weeks since Drew McIntyre has appeared on WWE programming, but it sounds like fans could be seeing him back on Raw sooner than later.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, McIntyre underwent minor surgery recently and is almost ready to return.
Drew McIntyre was reportedly sick for a few weeks and just kept it to himself while he kept working.
A few weeks ago on 8/26, McIntyre faced Ricochet in a King of the Ring match and it’s being said that he could barely get out of bed that day.
McIntyre figured he had the flu, and he kept it to himself. He then went to Mexico for a promotional tour last week and was told to see a doctor when he returned.
After the doctor diagnosed him he went into surgery three hours later.
Drew is reportedly ready to go, but has not been officially cleared, but he’s expected to be cleared soon.
