When Daniel Bryan was forced to retire from in ring competition in 2016, he didn’t give up hope. He fought for his dreams, and now his dreams have come true, because Daniel Bryan was cleared to return to the ring shortly before WrestleMania 34.
Bryan is now once again a full time wrestler, and he’s been performing regularly on SmackDown Live and WWE pay-per-views.
Before Daniel Bryan was cleared for in-ring competition, there was a lot of talk about what he was going to do when his WWE contract expires in September, but it looks like he’ll be sticking around when the time comes.
It was recently noted on Wrestling Observer Live (via CageSideSeats) that current plans call for Daniel Bryan to stay with WWE beyond his current contract.
Squared Circle Sirens is reporting that during the recent WWE Live Event in Bournemouth, UK, an advertisement hyping up WWE’s second UK Tournament on Monday, June 18th and Tuesday, June 19th aired.
According to those in attendance, the ad announced names such as Wolfgang, Mark Andrews, Tucker Knight and current PROGRESS Women’s Champion Toni Storm for the tournament.
Storm competed in the first ever Mae Young Classic last summer, and she made it all the way to the semifinals before she was eliminated by Kairi Sane.
