Cody Rhodes made his triumphant return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 earlier this year, and he picked up a huge victory over Seth Rollins on the Grandest Stage of Them All. The American Nightmare continued to feud with Rollins in the weeks that followed, but he was unfortunately taken out of action due to a pectoral injury.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Cody’s recovery has been going well, and he’s been working with top trainers to put on size and strength. Cody’s goal is to hit 240 pounds and he’s said to be back to normal when it comes to his ability to train.
There’s currently no word on when Cody Rhodes will be returning as it’s likely that WWE will want it to be a surprise. A feud with Seth Rollins seems to make sense for Cody based on their storyline. However, Seth Rollins is currently working as a babyface.
Stay tuned for more updates on Cody’s return as they become available.
