Update On Cody Rhodes’ Future With WWE As He Pursues Acting Roles

It’s certainly not uncommon to see WWE Superstars make the jump to Hollywood and names like The Rock, John Cena and Batista have gone on to find major success in the acting world. Recently it was reported that Cody Rhodes had some discussions about potential roles during his time in Los Angeles, but it doesn’t look like Cody has any interest in stepping away from wrestling.

Fightful Select reports that Cody Rhodes doesn’t have any plans to become a part-time wrestler. It was noted that any acting projects he takes on would have to go around his WWE schedule.

According to the original report from Fightful, Cody had discussions about the role of Johnny Cage in the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie, and there was also talk of some involvement with a Legend of Zelda movie. There’s no word on whether or not anything will come from the meetings.

The American Nightmare was brutally attacked by Brock Lesnar on the Raw after WrestleMania, and it seems that their feud is only getting started. On the most recent episode of Raw, Cody Rhodes challenged Brock to a match at Backlash, but Brock has yet to respond. Stay tuned for updates.
