CM Punk held nothing back during the All Out post-show media scrum when he fired several shots at names such as Colt Cabana, Adam Page, MJF and The Elite. Following the press conference CM Punk and Ace Steel were involved in a physical altercation with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks and now everyone is waiting to see who will be punished and what the punishment will be.
Sports Illustrated is now reporting that punishment for the backstage fight will include suspensions for all involved. The list of people receiving suspensions includes Omega, Matt and Nick Jackson, Pat Buck, Christopher Daniels, Michael Nakazawa, and Brandon Cutler.
Multiple sources have also claimed that CM Punk and Ace Steel will either be suspended, or they will no longer be with All Elite Wrestling by the end of Wednesday. It’s also being reported that CM Punk met with Tony Khan on Tuesday which gave them an opportunity to discuss how a potential exit for Punk could be handled.
An external third party investigation is also expected to be conducted to examine what took place. Sources from AEW also indicated that it’s not expected the company will turn this situation into a storyline.
