WWE really hasn’t been the same without Chris Jericho. Thankfully, Jericho has been in the public eye quite a bit in recent months as the frontman for Fozzy. They’ve been touring all over the globe rocking out one packed house after another gaining fans everywhere they’ve traveled.
As cool as it might be to see Y2J rocking people’s faces off on a global level, Jericho still has a ton of fans in WWE who would love to see him come back. As it turns out, Jericho is at least scheduled for one upcoming appearance.
PW Insider reports that Chris Jericho is also appearing for the Greatest Royal Rumble event. It’s not known at this point whether or not this is going to be a one-off for The Ayatollah Of Rock n Rolla but it would certainly be a good time for him to come back to catch the wave after WrestleMania if he could find the time in his busy schedule to make a WWE return.
This time last year Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens were in a heated rivalry. At Fastlane 2017 Kevin Owens lost the Universal Title thanks to Y2J. If you ask KO he should have won the WWE Championship at this year’s event but he was screwed by Shane McMahon this time.
Kevin Owens hit a Pop-Up Powerbomb in the closing moments of the match but Shane McMahon pulled the referee out of the ring before he couldn’t count to three. Plenty of people were upset about this including KO. Sure, Shane-O took a stray superkick to the face but that’s the risk you take when you sit at ringside.
The former Universal Champion and leader of the Yep Movement commented on the main event match at Fastlane and needless to say, he was rather disappointed about how it all went down.
Owens simply said, “I should be WWE Champion right now” and he left it at that. The fact is that if Shane McMahon would have stayed out of things, Kevin Owens would have a much better Road To WrestleMania.
