Bryan Danielson has not competed since the Anarchy in the Arena match at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view and Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that as of last Wednesday the former WWE Champion was not cleared to compete.
AEW had plans for Bryan Danielson to face Zack Sabre Jr. at the upcoming Forbidden Door pay-per-view, but whether or not that match will happen depends on if Bryan can get cleared in time.
It’s believed that Danielson was injured at some point during the Anarchy in the Arena match, but specific details regarding the injury are unknown. Originally it was reported that Danielson was expected to be out of action for 1 to 2 weeks.
