Monday was a big night for Braun Strowman, as Stephanie McMahon booked him in a match against Baron Corbin at TLC, and Corbin later smashed the steel ring steps into Strowman’s arm.
It was later revealed that Strowman has been dealing with a legitimate elbow injury, which is why the angle was done on Monday Night Raw.
PWInsider reports that Braun Strowman is currently scheduled to undergo surgery in Birmingham, Alabama on Monday.
The belief is that the injury is only a minor issue, and that it’s something that can be worked around heading into the TLC pay-per-view next month.
WWE officials are hoping that Braun Strowman’s recovery time will be minimal, but his exact recovery time won’t be known until the surgery is performed.
As of this writing Strowman is still being advertised for his scheduled match with Baron Corbin at TLC. If Braun wins he will go on to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble next year, and if Baron Corbin wins he will become Raw General Manager permanently.
