It’s been a while since fans have seen Bobby Roode in the ring, but the former NXT Champion has been working behind the scenes as a producer. It looks like things are going well for Roode in his new role as Fightful Select is reporting that he is now doing solo producing assignments on the main roster.
Earlier this month it was reported by PWInsider that Bobby Roode was removed from from WWE’s internal roster where he was previously listed under the miscellaneous section.
Bobby Roode last competed in a WWE ring in June of 2022. Roode has been out of action due to injury and he has since undergone two neck fusion surgeries. Despite his injury status Bobby Roode has not made any official comments regarding whether or not his in-ring career is over.
Back in 2016, Bobby Roode signed with WWE and he quickly became one of the top stars on the NXT brand before getting called up to the main roster in August of 2017. Throughout his run as an active competition Roode managed to capture the NXT Championship, United States Championship, Raw Tag Team Championship, SmackDown Tag Team Championship and WWE 24/7 Championship.
Stay tuned for more updates on Bobby Roode’s status as they become available.
