Last week the world was forced to say goodbye to Ashley Massaro after the former WWE Superstar passed away.
TMZ is now reporting that Ashley Massaro was found hanging after she took her own life according to multiple sources connected to the situation.
She was found unconscious in her home in Suffolk County, NY and she was later transported to a hospital nearby where she was pronounced dead.
WWE paid tribute to Ashley Massaro on Sunday with an “In Memory Of” graphic before the Money In The Bank pay-per-view.
After she passed away WWE issued the following statement:
“We are saddened to learn of the tragic death of former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro. She performed in WWE from 2005-2008 and was beloved by her fellow Superstars and fans around the world. WWE offers its condolences to Ashley’s family and friends.”
