Alexa Bliss hasn’t appeared on WWE programming in some time as she last competed in a WWE ring when she challenged Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at the Royal Rumble premium live event in January. Bliss was unable to defeat Belair during their encounter and she’s been off TV ever since.
Recently Alexa Bliss posted a picture in her Instagram story showing a bandage on her face and she noted that she underwent a skin procedure at American Skin Institute in LA.
If that’s what I think it is I think i know why Alexa hasn’t been on tv recently @AlexaBliss_WWE hope you are ok now and we are here for you always ✌️❤️ pic.twitter.com/1LKYnGlQ3m

Alexa Bliss went on to respond to concerned fans on Twitter and she indicated that the healing time will be short when she posted a tweet which said, “Thank you! Don’t worry, short healing time. Always get your skin checked! Esp if you are in the sun or use tanning beds! Lol”
The former Raw Women’s Champion went on to clarify that there was a spot on her face that motivated her to get checked out when she added, “There was a spot on my face yes- that had gotten worse. So went to get biopsy. Was basal cell carcinoma. During my procedure doc also found other squamous cells. Was a quick and easy procedure. Glad I always get my skin checked ”

There’s currently no word on when Alexa Bliss could be returning to WWE programming, but with WrestleMania 39 less than two weeks away it seems unlikely that she’ll be part of the show this year. Stay tuned for updates.
