WrestleMania season was big this year, but one Superstar who was been noticeably absent from WWE programming for months now is none other than AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One suffered a broken ankle at a WWE live event in Hershey, PA on December 29 and he’s been out of action ever since.
PWInsider is reporting that AJ Styles was not around during WrestleMania weekend. At this point his return is just a matter of him getting cleared and ready to perform following the broken ankle he suffered back in December. At this point in time there’s been no word on AJ Styles being around the Performance Center or on the road with WWE.
There’s currently no word on when AJ Styles could return, but he after he suffered the injury he noted on Twitter that he was expecting this would be the longest that he’s ever been out of the ring.
Just want you guys to know that I’m ok. Broken ankle is what I’m dealing with. No surgery, this just takes some time to recover. This will be the longest I've ever been out of the ring. Thanks for the prayers and get well wishes.

Prior to being sidelined AJ Styles and The OC were involved in a feud with The Judgment Day, so it will be interesting to see if that feud picks back up when Styles does eventually return. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
